The Veni, Vidi, Vici training course was organized in Topola, Serbia, with the support of the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. It focused on the importance of creativity in youth work and equipped youth workers with methods to foster creative thinking among young people.
In a rapidly changing world, creativity is a vital skill for adapting to challenges, finding solutions, and building fulfilling lives. Youth need spaces where originality is valued, mistakes are treated as steps in learning, and motivation is protected through positive feedback. This project created such an environment, enabling youth workers to strengthen their own capacities and better support the young people they work with.
The training course aimed to:
Raise awareness about the importance of creativity in youth work.
Explore methods to improve creative thinking skills.
Provide tools and activities that help youth express and develop new ideas.
Identify barriers that limit creativity in young people and find solutions.
Share good practices of using creativity in everyday youth work.
Encourage participants to design new Erasmus+ projects focused on creativity.
The project gathered youth workers, leaders, and educators who:
Were active in non-formal education.
Wanted to learn and apply creative methods in youth work.
Had basic experience leading educational activities at local or international level.
Were open to sharing knowledge and developing as trainers or facilitators.
Participants came from Germany, Serbia, Hungary, Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Italy, Sweden, Romania, and Kosovo, creating a diverse environment for exchange and innovation.
The training took place at Hotel Oplenac in Topola, Serbia. Surrounded by greenery and cultural heritage, the venue provided an inspiring setting for learning, collaboration, and intercultural evenings.
The project was co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union and the German National Agency. Travel, accommodation, meals, and activities were fully covered for participants.
Veni, Vidi, Vici strengthened the capacities of youth workers to integrate creativity into their daily work. By sharing tools, practices, and experiences, the training course contributed to building a generation of youth leaders capable of inspiring innovation, resilience, and positive change in their communities.
